PROTOKOL VYDÁNÍ
- Fix
Pages that errored instead of loading
Aug 19, 2026- Tank lists, tank pages and player pages intermittently showed an error instead of their content. The site's own page-rendering requests were being counted as though one visitor were hammering the API, so once that allowance ran out the pages themselves were refused.
- Page rendering no longer counts against a visitor's allowance. The protection against genuine abuse from outside is unchanged.
- New
Replays: a list view
Aug 18, 2026- The replays archive can now be shown as a list instead of cards — the map and the tank side by side, then damage, WN8, kills, assist, blocked damage and XP as labelled columns you can compare straight down the page. Roughly twice as many battles fit on a screen.
- Damage is still shaded against what that tank normally does, and WN8 against its own scale, so a big number on a small tank still reads as a big number.
- Your choice of cards or list is remembered and applies to your own uploads too. Cards stay the default.
- Blocked damage and the mastery badge now show on every row in the archive, not just inside a replay.
- Rows for replays that have been rendered to video lead with a frame of that video; the rest show the map and the vehicle.
- New sorts: Kills, Assist, Likes and Views, alongside Newest, Damage, WN8 and XP.
- Improved
Contacts, colour-coded by skill
Aug 16, 2026- Friends we'd never seen before showed no rating at all; they're now picked up in the background after a refresh, so the contact list fills in with real numbers instead of blanks.
- Contacts are colour-coded by WN8 — friends and blocked alike — with each player's rating beside their name. Players we haven't rated yet stay neutral rather than being shown as bad.
- Fix
Search, discovery and profile fixes
Aug 16, 2026- Player names in the ⌘K quick search were shouted in capitals — the group heading's styling was leaking onto the results beneath it. Names now show exactly as they are in game.
- Premium status claimed 'No' even with Premium and WoT Plus active. Wargaming's API has no working subscription field, so the card now says the status isn't available rather than stating something untrue.
- Players who were missing from search and stats: Wargaming's name search quietly truncates long result lists, and our crawler only dug deeper on a completely full page — on one prefix alone that hid 72 real players. It now digs deeper whenever a list comes back near the limit.
- Recent stats on freshly-discovered players had silently stopped seeding, so brand-new profiles showed nothing at all. Restored, so a player you look up for the first time has numbers straight away.
- Improved
Tank Performance: fuller table
Aug 15, 2026- Pen% (share of landed shots that penetrate) now collected and shown. It starts empty and fills in as snapshots accumulate — a blank means 'not measured yet', never 0%.
- Player WR and WR Diff: the average winrate of the players who actually drive each tank, and how much better (green) or worse (red) the tank wins than its own drivers usually do.
- New columns the data already had — Assist, Hit%, Spots and Players — plus a nation filter and an 'Average of selection' row that summarises whatever you've filtered to, battle-weighted.
- A minimum-battles floor (30/100/200 by period, adjustable) instead of listing tanks with a handful of battles whose winrates read as fact.
- EU and ASIA are marked work in progress: those numbers come from tracked players only, while NA is complete server-wide.
- New
Balance patches: what changed, tank by tank
Aug 15, 2026- New Balance Patches section (/patches): pick a patch and see every vehicle it touched, with the exact before-and-after for damage, penetration, DPM, armour, mobility, view range and camo — buffs in green, nerfs in red, biggest reworks first.
- Each tank page's Balance changelog now fills from the same data, covering 2.3.1 → 2.4 Public Test (37 vehicles changed).
- New
Your Wargaming account, in full
Aug 15, 2026- A 'My account' tab on your own player profile: resources (gold, credits, free XP, bonds), premium status, account restrictions, active boosters, your full garage (searchable, sorted by tier) and your contacts. Only you can see it — it never appears to other visitors.
- The data stays up to date on its own instead of freezing at login: it refreshes in the background when stale, with a Refresh button and an 'updated X ago' stamp. If your Wargaming session expires, the tab says so and offers one-click sign-in.
- Contacts moved above the garage and now cover friends, blocked, muted and ignored players, switchable, each linking to their player page.
- Fixed: private account data had silently stopped updating, the reserves panel listed long-spent boosters as 'active', and resources now use the real in-game icons.
- Improved
Mechanics manual, chaptered
Aug 14, 2026- The Game Mechanics field manual is now three pages with their own Mechanics section in the sidebar — Gunnery, Spotting & camo, and Tier XI abilities. /mechanics is a chapter index.
- The ammunition icons in the Shell types section showed the wrong shell render; they now use the same official AP/APCR/HEAT/HE icons as the rest of the site.
- New
Game Mechanics field manual
Aug 14, 2026- New Game Mechanics page (/mechanics): shell types with in-game ammo art, penetration rules (normalization, ricochet, overmatch, effective armor) with original diagrams, the ±25% roll and range falloff, an all-new spotting & concealment chapter, and the Tier XI dossier.
- The Statistics Reference page is back to pure stat definitions, with a pointer link to the new page.
- New
Tier XI special mechanics
Aug 14, 2026- All 22 released Tier XI vehicles grouped by class, each with its in-game ability icon, a link to its tank page, and a short field-manual summary of its unique mechanic.
- The shell-mechanics table now shows the official shell-type icons next to AP / APCR / HEAT / HE.
- New
Shell mechanics explained
Aug 14, 2026- New Shell mechanics section on the Statistics Reference page: per-shell normalization and ricochet angles, the 3-caliber overmatch rule, the 2-caliber normalization boost, the ±25% penetration roll, penetration falloff over distance, and the Polish TDs' deep-rifled damage falloff.
- The 3D armor inspector now shows the selected shell type's normalization and ricochet constants right under the shell-type selector.
- Removed the star Rating filter on the Tanks page — the 1-5 star meta rating itself still shows on tank cards and the ratings board.
- Data
Supertest previews
Aug 14, 2026- Upcoming vehicles, before they release: the tank index now includes unreleased vehicles from testing — the whole 2.4 Common Test batch (including the new German heavy line) plus current Supertest vehicles like the Object Veles, Kolczatka and M47 Chevalier.
- They carry a red Supertest badge — stats may change before release — and the badge disappears automatically the day a tank goes live.
- Improved
Replay page polish
Aug 13, 2026- The replay-folder path on the Replays page now shows the install folder for the region you have selected (NA/EU/ASIA) instead of always _EU.
- Every replay card now has a thumbnail area — the video preview when one exists, the Wotlytics mark otherwise — so the grid keeps a consistent shape.
- Restored replay video thumbnails and analytics that the new security policy had briefly blocked.
- Improved
Error handling, loading screens, keyboard sorting
Aug 12, 2026- When a panel fails to load (tank top players, tank economics, game modes), the site now says so and offers a Retry button instead of quietly showing 'no data'.
- Loading screens on the heavier pages (Tank Stats, Tank Performance, Compare, Replays, Videos, Maps, War Room) so navigation no longer flashes a blank page.
- Table sorting is now fully keyboard-accessible: every sortable column header can be focused with Tab and toggled with Enter/Space, across all the big stat tables.
- Faster, safer sign-in under the hood: session credentials moved out of browser storage into a secure httpOnly cookie, and sign-out properly revokes the session server-side.
- Improved
Community-tested build presets
Aug 12, 2026- The build presets (Best DPM, Most Accurate, Fastest, Best View, Best Camo, Survivable, Best Agility) now fill from the actual loadouts strong players run on each tank — real, community-tested builds across 500+ tanks — falling back to the optimizer where a tank has no tested build for a goal.
- This also removes illegal picks, e.g. a Vertical Stabilizer on turretless tank destroyers that can't mount one.
- Added the Commander's Vision System equipment (reduces enemy concealment), so vision builds that run it display and read correctly, with new 'enemy cover' rows.
- Improved
Accurate build presets
Aug 12, 2026- The crew model was corrected so Improved Ventilation and Brothers in Arms boost firepower, aim and view — not just camo; Improved Aiming now tightens the aiming circle (not aim time), with Enhanced Gun Laying Drive added as the aim-time device. Best DPM now lands Gun Rammer · Vertical Stabilizer · Improved Ventilation, as the meta does.
- Every preset was audited across all 500+ tier 8–11 tanks: Most Accurate builds Improved Aiming · Vertical Stabilizer · Improved Ventilation, and Survivable models Improved Hardening + Spall Liner and builds the real durability trio instead of padding with firepower.
- The stat table gained a Health bonus and an HE/ram-protection readout so those pieces' effects are visible.
- New
Wotlytics is on Discord
Aug 11, 2026- Join from the link in the site footer. New replays you upload auto-post a card to the #latest-replays feed (tank, map, result, damage, WN8, link), and each release is announced in #changelog.
- Improved
Commander bios
Aug 11, 2026- Every commander page now opens with a short bio of who the character or person actually is — from the Peaky Blinders' Ada Thorne to streamer QuickyBaby to Arnold Schwarzenegger — followed by how they were obtained in game. 149 bios, one per commander.
- Fix
Voice player fix
Aug 11, 2026- Commander voice lines no longer keep playing after you leave the page — navigating away hard-stops audio and cancels Auto-continue.
- Improved
Faster galleries & detail pages
Aug 11, 2026- Commander portraits, map minimaps and tank silhouettes are served as resized AVIF/WebP through the image optimizer instead of full-size originals — gallery pages load several times lighter, especially on mobile.
- Tank and map detail pages are cached between visitors (ISR) instead of being re-rendered on every request — repeat views answer in milliseconds.
- The Tanks grid loads 30 vehicles per page by default (60/120/240 still selectable), halving the initial page weight.
- New
Commander Voices Explorer
Aug 10, 2026- New Commander Voices section: every special WoT commander — Battle Pass heroes, event crews, blogger cameos and collab characters — in one browsable gallery.
- Every commander page shows their portrait, which event or campaign they came from, and every distinct in-game voice line, playable right in the browser.
- Play Random and Auto-continue keep the lines rolling — tens of thousands of voice clips extracted straight from the game client.
- Improved
Real trees & destructible cover in the 3D Inspector
Aug 10, 2026- Vegetation now renders as billboards baked from the game's actual tree models and textures, at true in-game sizes.
- Cover a tank can demolish (wooden houses, fences, sheds) renders in wood tones, with an amber Destructibles highlight toggle in the Layers menu.
- New
3D Battlefield Inspector
Jul 17, 2026v2.3.1.0- Every standard map reconstructed in 3D from the game client — terrain elevation, man-made cover, vegetation and real building meshes.
- Orbit / fly the camera, drop tank models and rotate the hull, turret and gun.
- Mark a position to see exactly what it can and cannot spot, using the game's real spotting model (view range, camo, bushes, hard cover).
- Expand the viewer to fill the tab or go fullscreen for a bigger view.
- Start a shared session to run live tactics on the 3D map — ping, draw arrows and routes, drop unit markers and text; everyone with the link sees the board update live.
- Discoverable from the new 3D Maps gallery, a Theatre nav entry, and a 3D badge on maps that support it.
- New
Replay battle report
Jul 16, 2026- In-game-style replay results — personal score and team score rebuilt to match the battle end screen.
- Game-style enemy interaction table showing damage, spots and kills between players.
- Earned medals rendered with their real in-game icons, and epic medals showcased in the result banner.
- Map artwork background behind the 2D viewer, likes and battle counters on each replay.
- Replays can be turned into a shareable rendered video via a background render-worker pipeline.
- New
2D Replay Viewer
Jul 14, 2026- Upload a .wotreplay and watch a top-down 2D playback of the battle on the minimap.
- Vehicle positions decoded from the replay packet stream via an async timeline pipeline.
- Data
Theatre map catalog
Jul 1, 2026- Full battle-map catalog with true in-game minimaps, playable size, season and supported game modes, datamined from the client.
- Battle-type filtering and per-map detail pages.
