Privacy Policy

Most of what you see on Wotlytics — player statistics, tank performance, leaderboards — comes from Wargaming’s public API. That data is already public and is tied to in-game names, not to any account you hold with us.

If you want your in-game statistics hidden, that is a setting on the Wargaming side; we display what their API makes available.

Account data. If you create an account we store your username, your sign-in credentials, and an email address if you choose to give one. Email is optional and is used for verification and account recovery.

Feedback you send. Bug reports and suggestions, plus an email address if you include one so we can follow up.

Usage analytics. Page views and general interaction data, collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, so we can see which parts of the site are actually used.

Technical logs. Standard server logs — IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, and the pages requested — kept for security, abuse prevention and debugging.

• Your Wargaming account password. We never ask for it.
• Payment or card details. Patreon handles all of that on their own systems; we only learn that a supporter is a supporter.
• Anything we do not need to run the site.

We use the data above only to:

• run your account and keep you signed in;
• reply to feedback you sent us;
• understand which features are worth keeping and improving;
• keep the site up, and detect abuse or attacks.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings, such as your chosen server and layout preferences. These are necessary for the site to work as you expect.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure usage. You can block them with a browser setting, an extension, or Google’s opt-out tools — the site will keep working.

• Wargaming — the source of public game data.
• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) — usage measurement.
• Patreon — voluntary supporter payments, handled entirely on their side.
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers — who process data on our behalf to serve the site.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data.

Account data is kept while your account exists. Delete the account and we remove it. Feedback submissions are kept while they are still useful to us. Server logs are kept for a short operational window and then rotated out. Analytics data follows Google’s retention settings.

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Wotlytics is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this page when our practices change, and the “last updated” date above will change with it. Material changes will be called out on the site.
